Yesterday I discovered actor and comedian Fergus MacDonald Caird had passed away. He played the father in our short movie ‘Flawless’, which you can watch below.
Fergus was an excellent performer, capable of evoking layers of emotion in a single expression. He was a funny guy, just naturally funny, and he cracked me up every time we met. I hadn’t caught up with him for some time and assumed I would at some point. I regret not doing more with him.
My thoughts go out to Fergus’ loved ones.

Very sorry to hear this Jim. I did some comedy shows and workshops with Fergus and always got on great with him. How and when did this happen?

About the day before I posted this. I’m not sure if the details but I think it was some illness. He was in hospital when he passed away.
We were lucky to know the guy.

Very sad and sorry to hear this Jim, especially for those near and dear to him. I did some comedy shows and workshops with Fergus and always had a great time and got on well with him. I now also wish I’d made more effort to stay in touch with him more. Do you know how and when this happened?
